Let Us Tell Your Story
The Communications and Media (CAM) Team is an in-house department of the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education (SLOCOE). We work on projects promoting SLOCOE and SLO County education initiatives through video production, web design, audio production and digital marketing.
Video Production
The CAM Team can assist you in developing video collateral to meet the needs of your project. We work on all stages of the project from pre-production and scripting to videography, editing and distribution. Video styles range from short social media clips to longer informational pieces.
Web Design
A website serves as the face of your program and where most people will find out more information about who you are and what you do. We can assist you in the design, creation, hosting and maintenance of your website, while ensuring it tells your story.
Audio Production
The CAM Team offers a full audio production studio to record voice-overs, podcasts, music, and more. Our broadcast-level microphones and sound-proofed studio ensure a professional sound for your project. We also provide AV engineering services for in-person and virtual meetings in one of several on-site conferencing facilities.
Project Workflow
The CAM Team will guide your project through the following phases, from initiation to completion.
1. Project Intake Form
The first step is for you to complete the Project Intake Form. This lets us know more about your project and end goals so we can determine the best ways to meet your needs.
2. Project Overview Meeting
Next, we will schedule a meeting to go over the details of the project and make sure everyone is on the same page.
3. Sign Proposal
Once the details have been worked out, we will send a project proposal for you to approve and sign.
4. Production
We will begin production of your project and will provide you with rough drafts for you feedback along the way.
5. Approval
Once the final project has been delivered, you will give your final approval that the project has been completed according to the details outlined in the proposal.
6. Distribution
We will distribute the final product through the social media and broadcast channels identified in the proposal.
